Booking
- Bookings can be made online, or by phone/WhatsApp for groups of more than 20 guests.
- Online bookings open two days before the cruise date and close four hours before departure.
- Walk-in bookings are subject to availability; advance booking is strongly recommended, especially during peak season.
- Prices are fixed across all booking channels and are the same year-round unless revised.
- Guests may book on behalf of others; correct guest names must be provided.
Boarding
- The boarding point varies by season and is always stated on your boarding pass — please check it before travelling.
- Please report at least 30 minutes before departure (up to one hour during peak season due to traffic).
- The vessel departs on schedule and cannot wait for late arrivals.
- A valid photo ID is recommended for all guests. A phone confirmation of your booking is sufficient for boarding; a printout is not required.
On board
- Outside food is not permitted. Drinking water is allowed; cakes are permitted for special occasions.
- Outside alcohol is not permitted and will be confiscated. Alcohol is served on board except on dry days, in accordance with local regulations.
- A dedicated smoking area is provided; smoking is not permitted elsewhere on board.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Guests are responsible for their own safety and belongings, and for the supervision and safety of children in their care.
- Seating is arranged by our team; seating allotments are final and any changes are subject to availability.
- Guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully. We reserve the right to refuse boarding or service to any guest whose conduct is unsafe, unlawful, or disruptive to other guests, without refund.
Safety
- Our vessels are operated by licensed masters and carry safety equipment including life jackets, life buoys, and fire extinguishers, with trained crew and regular safety drills.
- Guests must comply with crew instructions at all times, particularly regarding safety.
- Cruise timings and routes vary seasonally with river conditions and are subject to change.
Health & accessibility
- Boarding involves a walk to the vessel and stairs between decks. Guests with limited mobility are welcome but should plan accordingly; please contact us in advance so we can assist.
- Guests with medical conditions travel at their own discretion; please ensure the experience is suitable for you and inform us of any needs in advance.
Liability
- Brahmaputra Cruise Private Limited shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage except where caused by our proven negligence, to the extent permitted by law. Guests participate in the cruise and its activities at their own risk.
Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Guwahati, Assam.
