Book online through our booking page, or message us on WhatsApp. Online booking opens 2 days before the cruise date and closes 4 hours before departure. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability, and groups of more than 20 book directly with us by phone or WhatsApp.
Sunset cruises start from ₹700 per person; the dinner cruise from ₹1,900 per person. Rates vary by deck and for children — see the booking page for current prices. Prices are fixed year-round with no weekend, holiday or New Year surge, and the same rate applies online, by phone, or at the counter.
No — our pricing is the same for everyone, every day of the year. It keeps things simple and fair, and it means the price you see is always the real one.
UPI, cards and cash all work. Your boarding pass arrives on WhatsApp and email — no printout needed, showing it on your phone is enough. If it hasn't arrived, call +91 98549 58549 or +91 94355 58001 and we'll sort it immediately.
Of course — just give us the correct guest names when booking. Guests should carry an ID; foreign visitors need nothing special beyond that.
Modifications are possible up to 24 hours before the cruise, subject to availability. Cancellations more than 24 hours ahead carry a 10% charge; same-day cancellations aren't refundable, and late arrival counts as a no-show — the boat sails on schedule.
The sunset cruise follows the sun — around 4:00 PM in winter and 5:30 PM in summer — and the dinner cruise generally sails 7:30 to 9:00 PM. Exact times for your date are on the booking page, and each cruise page on this site shows today's live timing.
Report at least 30 minutes before departure — the boat sails on schedule and cannot wait for late arrivals. Between November and January, Guwahati's evening traffic is heavy; give yourself up to an hour.
Yes — every day, year-round, monsoon included. The only exceptions are extreme weather or unusually high water, occasionally in June–July. Fog only occurs in the early morning and late night hours, when no cruises are scheduled, so it doesn't affect sailings.
Boarding involves a short walk up to the ship, one flight of stairs to the middle deck and two to the upper deck. For guests with wheelchairs, strollers or limited mobility we recommend planning accordingly — call us before booking and we'll do our best to help.
On the dinner cruise, yes — a welcome drink, veg snacks, the cultural performances and a full buffet are all in the ticket. On the sunset cruise, food and drinks are à la carte from the on-board bar and restaurant.
Outside food isn't allowed (bottled water is fine, and celebration cakes are always welcome). Outside alcohol is not permitted and will be confiscated — the on-board bar serves alcohol except on dry days.
Very much so, with a guardian responsible for them aboard. All decks are railed, life jackets are available on request, and life buoys are aboard. Infants aged 3 and under sail free but may not get their own seat — book a child ticket if one is needed.
In extreme weather, cruises don't sail. Sunset and sundown tickets are refunded in full. For the dinner cruise there's no refund — but the full evening happens on board without sailing: performances, buffet and all.
Carry an ID, and bring a light layer — open decks can be breezy on the water, especially in winter. If it's hot, cold or raining, the fully covered air-conditioned lounge is open to every guest.
Our captains are licensed second-class masters, and the vessel runs regular third-party surveys, safety drills and pollution tests, with life jackets, first aid and fire systems aboard. Women work across our front office and service crew, and the decks are well-populated every sailing — solo travellers, women included, cruise with us comfortably every week.
Happily — bring a cake, and we can make an announcement or dedicate a song to your person. Table decorations aren't possible on scheduled cruises (the turnaround between sailings is tight), but cake and bouquet arrangements are available at a small charge. Yes — Jain, vegan, no-onion-no-garlic and allergy-aware plates can all be arranged if you tell us when you book.
There's no guest WiFi, but mobile coverage is excellent — the cruise stays within Guwahati city limits, so your network works the whole way.
We love them, but no — pets can't join the cruises.
Professional photography is welcome. Drones fly only on request and at your own risk — we say this from experience: a moving vessel and a very large river have claimed drones before.
No — the ferry is a short shuttle to the temple island. Ours is a premium 60–90 minute cruise on the largest vessel on the Brahmaputra, with dining, a bar and live performances aboard.
By phone or WhatsApp — private evenings are planned personally, not through the booking page. A week's notice is ideal; sometimes two days is enough. Your own photographer and cake are welcome, and the decor is by our team.
November to March — the island rises from the river only in winter and is taken back each summer. That applies to both the private candlelight island dinners and full island events.
Yes — the island hosts up to 350 guests, with everything provided: transport by boat, catering, decor, sound, power, staging, washrooms, dining halls and bar. Island events start from around ₹6 lakh depending on size and requirements; site visits can be arranged in season.

The boarding point moves with the river's seasons: the Gateway of Guwahati terminal at Panbazar in winter, and Uzanbazar in summer. Your exact boarding point is always printed on your boarding pass — check it before booking your cab. On Google Maps, search "Alfresco Grand".
About 15 minutes from Guwahati railway station, 40 minutes from Kamakhya station, and an hour to an hour twenty from the airport depending on traffic.
Yes. At Panbazar there's paid multilevel parking opposite the terminal and free parking at the ghat just before it; the Uzanbazar boarding point has free parking.
