What a charter includes
Everything is customised: the route, the duration, the decks' setup, the menu from our own kitchens, the bar (we can arrange alcohol, or you bring your own with corkage). Bring your own DJ, live band or decorator — the boat is yours for the evening.
Corporate hosts get the practical things done properly: AV with projector and mics for presentations and awards, GST invoicing, and a crew that's run hundreds of events on this river. Book at least a week ahead so we can build it right.
Occasions
Weddings, engagements and receptions all sail with us — the decks dressed for the occasion, the ceremony framed by the river. And in winter, a daytime charter can carry your party out to the sandbar for lunch on the sand.
November – March
In winter, a charter can go one step further: cruise your guests out to our private sandbar venue and celebrate on the sand — marquees, bonfires, food stalls and all. See river island events — weddings and parties up to 350 guests.
Good to know
Every charter is custom — route, duration, menu and setup are built around your event, so pricing follows the plan rather than a rate card. Call us or WhatsApp with your date, guest count and occasion, and we'll put a quote together. GST invoicing is available for corporate bookings.
At least a week, as a minimum — charters need crew, catering and decor planned around you. For winter dates and big events, earlier is safer.
Yes — your own DJ, live band and decorator are all welcome aboard. The one thing that stays in-house is catering: all food comes from our own kitchens (it's how we keep the quality we're known for). Corporate hosts can also use our AV setup — projector, screen and mics.
Yes, on private charters — we can arrange the bar for you, or you're welcome to bring your own with a corkage charge. Service follows dry-day regulations.
By headcount and mood: S B Agam (up to 20) for intimate evenings, S B Serene (up to 50) for mid-size parties, and Alfresco Grand (up to 150) for receptions and corporate galas. If you're between sizes, tell us the occasion — we'll recommend honestly.
Just the two of you? S B Agam's most-loved booking is the private candlelight dinner — decor, dinner and the river for two.
No occasion needed. The daily cruises sail every evening — sunset from ₹700, dinner with the full cultural programme.
