Your evening
You board S B Agam privately — no other guests, only the crew, and they know how to be invisible. The canopy deck is already set: candles lit, your table decorated for the occasion, the evening arranged around whichever hour you choose — golden hour, or dinner under the city lights.
Then the shore lets go. Sunset burns down over the Brahmaputra, dinner is served course by course, and Guwahati's lights come on across the water like a private show. You can bring your own photographer, your own cake, your own secret plan — we'll take care of everything else.

November – March · premium
The rarest table in Guwahati. You sail out to a private sandbar that exists only in winter, follow a lantern-lit path to a single tent on the sand, and dine with your own lit vessel as the backdrop. The river takes the island back every summer — which is exactly why an evening on it is unforgettable.
The season
The island rises from the river each winter — November to March. Enquire for the current season's dates.
Occasions
The question deserves a stage. Tell us the plan and the crew keeps the secret — decor timed to the moment, the photographer hidden in plain sight, the ring arriving exactly when it should. We've done this before; nobody will give it away.
A year worth marking gets a table no restaurant can offer — the one moving through the middle of the Brahmaputra at dusk, set just for the two of you.

The vessel, private and crewed. The decor — candles, flowers, the setup styled by our team to your occasion. Dinner, served on deck. The timing, chosen by you: the sunset slot or the dinner slot. Your own photographer and cake are always welcome, and if there's a surprise involved, it stays one.
No two of these evenings are the same, so we don't price them off a rate card — every candlelight dinner is customised to the occasion, the setting and the season. Call us or say hello on WhatsApp, and we'll plan it together. A week's notice is ideal; sometimes two days is enough.

Honestly, no — the island is a winter gift. The sandbar rises from the river only from November to March, and disappears with the summer water. From April to October, the private cruise setting sails as beautifully as ever; the island tier reopens in November.
It would be far from our first. Tell us the plan and the crew keeps the secret — the decor, the timing, the moment. We've done this before, and nobody on board will give it away. Your own photographer is welcome, and a cake is easily arranged.
S B Agam hosts up to 20 guests, so it's not strictly for couples — intimate anniversaries, small family celebrations and close-friends birthdays all fit. For bigger private parties, look at our full-vessel charters.
A week's notice is ideal — it gives us time to plan the decor and menu around your occasion. We can sometimes arrange an evening on two days' notice, so it's always worth asking.
We'll always be straight with you: because the island setup and your dinner are prepared in advance, island bookings aren't refundable for weather. There's a covered area on the sand, and the evening finds its way — rain on the river has its own romance.
Sharing the deck is fine too. The daily sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra gives you the same golden hour from ₹700 a seat.
